One last time, I can link uo at Emma's spring cleaning. Last week was the theme "multi-colored", until today's midnight it can be linked up and because it's the birthday of a good friend of mine tomorrow, I thought about to sew a multi-colored reading-bone. The colors will please her, I'm sure. She already had a look at the fabric and told me, that she likes it. For my opinion, I like to wash a pillow case. So I've sewn a zipper (ok, it's a little bit tricky, but it could be worth) into the outer pillow and a second inner pillow, which is made by simple nettle cloth. I put a "handle" into the pillow and a label should not be forgotten.

Modern Dresden Plate Tischläufer

Hallo ihr Lieben!
Hej my dears!

Thank you so much for your gently comments concerning my last posts! Sorry, when I don't answer on every single comment, but at the moment - especially during the last week - there was nearly no time left over. But I'm always happy about every single comment!

Some posts ago, I've shown you a modern Dreseden Plate. I also took it with me, when we visited my parents last time. There I showed it to my sister and we decided, that it would be a nice part of a table runner. And beginning on Tuesday, the yearly exhibition at Nadel und Faden will start - so one more reason to start immediatly, isn't it? So, yesterday and today I sat at my sewing machine and appliqued by hand. And because there was a class during this weekend at the shop, I could drop of the table runner.

Also husch, husch! Es lohnt sich - glaubt mir!

So, for those, who will visit Nadel und Faden during the next two weeks, can have a look at some beautiful quilts and other nice sewing works. And during the next week, there will be 10% discount on all fabrics, too. So, hurry up! It's really worth - believe me!

Ok, the table runner is not really motley, but colored. ;o) So, I will link it up to Emma.

On the last minute I likw to show you something of the monochromatic colored scale. Ok, I know, black and white are no color, but I don't like to start a new discussion without it. ;) My brother-in-law asked me to sew a skirt for a Kleenex box to put it into their new bathroom. The fabric was really quick choosen and the sewing was also easy and fast done. But I hope, the box will fit better than mine. The cover is to big - although I've sewn it as shown in the tutorial. The tutorial, you can find it here, but I must admit, that I'm not totally convinced about it and I like to wait to see, if it fits well.

http://fruehstueckbeiemma.blogspot.de/2015/06/fruhjahrsputz-im-stoffregal-schwarz-wei.html

I love it! Vielen, vielen lieben Dank, Alexandra!!!

And I have to show you something black-white, which I didn't have sewn myself. Thanks to the postal strike, it took a little bit longer, but on Sunday I could hold my prize at Alexandra's blog birthday give-away by myself. A beautiful wallet in black/white/gray. I love it! Thank you so, so much, Alexandra!!!

And while we're at it and because the Emma's colorful week started yesterday, I like to show you another prize, which I got some weeks ago. Mona gave a little pig away - and I had the luck to win it! A really cute littel pig has moved into our flat and I hope it will bring us good luck the next weeks. Thank you so, so much, Mona, too!

Könnt ihr euch vorstellen, was das ist? / Can you imagine what this can be?

I've seen this long time before and today I found it as a freebook at Farbenmix. And because there so much grape cores left over, I've sewn it in really less time. And when my sister will see it, she will screem: "I want such a thing, too!" I can really hear her. *gg* So, this will tramp into my case and tomorrow onto her and my brother-in-law's coffee table. And now the solution! It's a mobile-beanbag!

And because it's a gray fabric, this will be linked up to Emma's spring-cleaning.

http://fruehstueckbeiemma.blogspot.de/2015/06/fruhjahrsputz-im-stoffregal-schwarz-wei.html

*gg*

And here the space-ceeping version to transporte fortune cookies by airplane. *gg*

This week in Emma's spring-cleaning it's all about black, white, grey and brown. Today, in the evening I could get some time to sew at my sewing-machine. so I pulled out the last three battings for the hodgepodge purses and looked for some fabric. Black and white, I have a huge fabric amount off and this three purses won't really reduce the stash. But the week isn't over, yet, although it's not very long, because of my weekend in the North (the summer party is near! *yeah*).

And because we are talking about spring-cleaning, I show you a picture of six fortune-cookies, which fit into this week.

Yesterday, I showed you my new fortune cookies. And some of the 14 cookies, which you cannot eat, but they look cute, fall in the yellow/orange category of Emma's spring-cleaning. Ans some of them will be brought to bear tomorrow. Then the black/white/brown week will begin. And now I will search some funny spells for the filling.

http://fruehstueckbeiemma.blogspot.de/2015/06/fruhlingsputz-im-stoffregal-gelb-orange.html

I have sewn the thin quilts for my sister to cover her bobbin plate. By the yellow border it fits into Emma's spring-cleaning, too. And my sister was really happy about them. :)

Did you know, there's a Sewing Machine Day? You can see it in the my Mom's calender that''s today. We visited mx parents this weekend and I didn't took my sewing machine with me. So, I had to use my Mom's one. Ok, I had already planned this, because I put some felt, fabric and Vlisofix into my bags, because my husband wanted to stay this day outside and I wanted to have some little presents for next weekend. My Mom has a 45 years old Bernina Record (830). A real nice and well working mechanical sewing machine. During sewing, I had to clean the machine and I must admit, that I was a little bit surprised to sew, that the machine really needs so less parts to create so many different stitches. Cleaned up the machine worked like a little tractor. *gg* A really nice machine that can sew nearly everything, what my 3 1/2 years old machine can sew. I only missed the buttons with "needle down position" and "thread cutting"  (and yes, I tried to push the non-existing buttons. *gg*)

By the way, some ofthe little presents fits the rules for Emma's yellow/orange week and sone of them forthe next week (White/black).

Today, I tidied up my fabric shell and tried out something new. Long time ago, I found a tutorial for a new round at the blog by A spoonful of sugar. It's made only by circles, which has to be tightened and bind with bias tape. One of them will have it's place at my bedside table to collect my hair ties.

I also sewed, instead of my little hodgepodge pouches two wallets for business or loyality cards. I will sew another one, which will be more fancy for my business cards at work, because my cards are loose in my rucksack (most of the time) and so they will be better protected.

When I was at Bremen around Eastern, I bought a cat panell. The lovely Jeannette sewd me a pillow with it. My sister will get a little, thin quilt to cover her bobbin lacemaking plate made by this panell and a fitting red fabric for sashing. It's still to small at the moment, so I will go downtown to buy more sashing fabric.

So, this were my red/pink things for today, which will be linked up at Emma's post for last week. And for the week in yellow/orange, I have sewn something, too. At FB in one group, I have seewn a picture and a mini-tutorial for a Dresden Plate. I can only recover the picture, but not the tutorial. I will make a tutorial myself during the next occasions. It's really easy and fast sewn ... and ... you won't need a special ruler for this version.

kleine Geschenke - teilweise in Rot

We are on the go to Hamburg. At our way to the airport I will make a little stop at a mail box and send some gifts (little puches, mugrugs, sweets and more) on their way. Some of the little fabrics are red and pink. So I can jump to Emma's Red Week and link up. And now, I will say good-bye to Hamburg and wish you a nice (long) week-end!

The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain! (Sorry, in German it makes more sence to what I like to talk about. It's something like "It's so green if the Spain's flowers bloom!") So, the green blocks clattered out of the sewing machine today! ;o) For my next big project I've sewn some nine patches again. This time with the green fabrics, whereat the different shades were much difficult to differ than the blue one.

I'm using my new number needles to sew the nine patches. They are very helpful in choosing the fabric combinations, so there won't be to much equal blocks.

Yesterday a good friend of mine visited us. During talking a little bit about this and that, and so she told me, that she always have to change the content of her little pouch. It was clear, she needed a second little pouch. So, she looked for a fabric she liked and I've sewn a new littel pouch today, which will go to the green week by Emma.

Mal schauen, was ich schaffe. Ansonsten kann ich das ja noch nachholen.

Next week it's all about "red/pink/rose". Because there won't be an extra week about "velvet", I will add this color, too. So, I would have to sew the red AND the velvet nine patches, but I think there won't be either one of them finished, because the next week is a short one for me. It's only about three days and than for days at Hamburg. I'm so happy about it. Let's have a look what I will reach. And if it's "not enough", I can catch it up.

http://fruehstueckbeiemma.blogspot.de/2015/05/fruhjahrsputz-im-stoffregal-grun.html

And last but not least a really HUGE thank you to all your comments abouut the Tula Pink Layout and the moorland sheep. My sister is very happy about your compliments, too, although this first moorland sheep wasn't as easy as she thought. She had just begun to crochet again, because she really don't want to try to sew at the sewing machine and I cannot crochet or knit because of a typewriter's cramp.
