Bin ich verrückt? *gg*

Vorgestern habe ich in einem kleinen Aufräumwahn vier meiner Stoffresteboxen ausgemistet. Alles, was nicht größer als 2" im Quadrat war, flog in eine Tüte - auch Streifen.

The day before yesterday, I tidied up four of my facric scrap boxes. Everything, what wasn't larger than squares of 2", flew into a waste bag - also the stripes.

Und dann lag ich abends im Bett und dachte nur "Du bist doch bescheuert, die ganzen Streifen wegzuwerfen....!" Also gestern morgen alle Streifen wieder raus...

And then, laying in my bed, I thought "Are you crazy to throw the whole stripes away....?!" So, yesterday in the morning I picked them out of the bag again...

Und dann ging es los. *ratter* *ratter* *ratter*

And then, the fun started. *sew* *sew* *sew*

Und das ist dabei rausgekommen! Ein schönes großes "neues" Stück Stoff.

And that's, what I got out of them! A real nice big piece of "new" fabric.

So, und nun dürft ihr entscheiden, ob ich verrückt bin. *ggg*

Wehe, wenn sie losgelassen...

Anfang letzter Woche war ich ja noch bei meinen Eltern zu Besuch. In Hermannsburg gibt es seit ein paar Monaten einen (neuen) Stoff- und Kleidungsladen namens "Herrlich & klein Herrlich". U.a. gibt es auch ein paar Patchworkstoffe, schön viele Wachsstoffe, ein bisserl Zubehör und auch veganes Leder. Davon hatte ich schon viel gelesen und nun habe ich mir eine Rolle gekauft. Ich weiß noch nicht wirklich, was ich damit nähe - Tipps eurerseits sind herzlich willkommen -, aber da kommt sicherlich noch was. Für meine Freundin in den USA habe ich u.a. ein bisschen Jerseystoffe und Bündchenware gekauft, denn letzteres scheint es in den USA nicht zu geben. Vielleicht habt ihr eine Idee, wie das dort heißt?

At the beginning of last week, we were still visiting my parents. There's a (new) fabric and cloth shop called "Herrlich & klein Herrlich" for some months at Hermannsburg. Beneath others, there some patchwork fabrics, some lovely waxed fabrics, a little bit of supplies and vegan leather. I heard a lot about it and now I bought one role. I don't know by now, what I will sew with it - hints and tipps are totally welcome -, but there will be a project for sure. For my friend in the USA I bought some pieces of jersey fabrics and some wristband fabric. It seems to be nearly impossible to get some wristband for cloth sewing at the USA. So, my friend and me, we would be really happy about hints and tipps where to get this.

Und dann war da noch das Angebot nach Uelzen zu fahren. Dort befindet sich der Patchworkladen "StoffArt". Also wer von euch mal in die Gegend kommt - UNBEDINGT vorbeischauen! Super nette Besitzer und eine tolle Auswahl an Stoffen, Garnen und Zubehör! Die beiden haben uns - also meine Schwester, meine Mutter und mich - sogar schon am Tag vor Urlaubsende des Shops in ihr Reich gelassen. Wehe, wenn sie losgelassen... Ich sage nur Kaufrausch! *ggg* Bei den King Tut Garnen konnte ich ja mal wieder nicht wiederstehen. Und da ich schon wusste, dass ich diese Schätzchen dort verkaufen, habe ich auch meine Garnkarte eingepackt. Auf der habe ich markiert, welche Garne ich schon habe. Die Karten mitzunehmen war eine gute Idee, denn die ersten Garne waren welche, die ich schon hatte. Kennt ihr das auch? Mir geht das regelmäßig so. *gg* Und dann haben meine Schwester und meine Mutter angefangen zu stöbern und auch einige Stoffe entdeckt, die sie gerne haben möchten - sprich, die ich für sie vernähen sollte. Ok, die meisten Stoffe sind dann vielleicht doch wieder für mich - aber *pssst*. ;)

And there was an offer to come to Uelzen, we couldn't resist. There, you can find the quilt shop "StoffArt". So, if you come to this area - you HAVE to visit the shop! Really lovely owners and such a giant selection of fabrics, threads and supplies! They let us - my Mom, my sister and me - shop one day before reopening after Christmas vacation. Beware, if they have can choose and buy... I only say "shopping frenzy"! *ggg* I could resist King Tut thread. And because I knew, that they sell this amazing thread, I took my thread cards with me, on which I marked the threads I already bought. That was a really good idea, because the first threads, I chose, I had already. Do you know this? That's happen often to me. *gg* And then, my sister and my Mom started to look fr fabrics they like. So, fabrics they like and which I shall make projects out of them. Ok, most of the fabrics are mine - but *psssst*. ;)

Und da meine Mutter morgen Geburtstag hat, hat sie sich einen Stoff ausgesucht, aus dem ich ihr dann eine Projektmappe für ihre Klöppelprojekte genäht habe.

And because it's my mother's birthday tomorrow, she chose a fabric, with which I've sewn a project map for her.

Ostern-Review

Ostern ist vorbei und ihr habt euch sicherlich gewundert, dass ich mich so spärlich bei euch gemeldet habe. Wir waren über Ostern im Norden unterwegs und ich habe soweit wie möglich aufs Handy und Internet verzichtet. Von daher noch einmal rückwirkend an Euch alle da draußen: Frohe Ostern!!!
Und für die da draußen, die schon wieder von einer Erkältung o.ä. eingeholt wurden: Gute Besserung!!!

Easter is over and maybe you wondered, why I commented so rarely during the last week. We went to the north about the Easter days and I resigned as far as possible my my mobile and internet. So, that's why I like to wish you all retrospective: Happy Easter!!!
And to those out there, which catched up a cold or something else: Get well soon!!!

Ein Highlight neben unserem ersten (Standesamt)Hochzeitstag und der Geburtstagsfeier meiner besten Freundin war auf jeden Fall das Treffen von Julie und mir mit Jeannette. Jeannette hat sogar mit ihrere persönlichen Stoffdealerin Svenja von Quiltworks gesprochen und sie hat extra für uns ihren Laden aufgemacht. (schaut mal bei Jeannette hier nach - ***hier*** gab es schon die ersten Bilder) Oh man... ich sage nur "Schnappatmung"! *gg* Ein Stoff schöner als der andere. Wo soll man da denn anfangen? *sabber* Und dann auch noch 3er-Paspeln! Ihr könnt euch nicht vorstellen, was das ist? Scrollt mal runter! *seufz* Haltet ihr mich schon für verrückt? Fragt mal Jeannette! Die hat zwischendurch echt schon kaputt gelacht, weil ich mich nicht mehr einbekommen habe. *gg* Svenja ist total lieb und sie hat mir meine Schätzchen (schaut mal die Jelly Roll an - I LOVE IT!) in einer Tasche eingepackt und ich habe sie für den Transport "versteckt". Könnt ihr sie auf dem ersten Bild sehen? Am Ende gibt es die Auflösung. Julie, die gerade erst anfängt mit dem Nähen, hat auch einige Stöffchen für Loops gefunden.

One highlight beneath our first (civil registry office) wedding day and the birthday party of my best friend Julie was definitly the meeting of Julie and me with Jeannette. Jeannette organized with her personal fabric-dealer Svenja by Quiltworks that she opened her store only for us. (Have a look at Jeannette's blog - she had already showed some pictures ***here***) OMG...  I can only say "gasping"! *gg* One fabric better than the other. Where should I began? *slobber* And than three turn piping! You cannot imaging, what this may be? (Maybe I also used a wrong word either.) So scroll down! *sigh* Do you think I'm crazy? Ask Jeannette! She loughed in a while during I jumped through the store and couldn't contain myself. *gg* Sylvia is so lovely and she put my treasures (look at this jelly roll - I LOVE IT!!!) in a lovely bag and I "hide" them under my secret project. Can you see them at my first picture? No? At the end, there will be the resolution. And Julie, who just began sewing, also got some lovely fabrics for some loops.

Im Anschluss waren wir noch in Jeannettes Kreativzentrum. Sie wohnt in einem so schönen alten Haus und hat ein tolles großes Zimmer zum Nähen. Einfach toll. Und da ich nicht all meine Quiltsachen mitnehmen konnte, habe ich die Gunst der Stunde genutzt. Näh-Neuling Julie wollte mit mir eine Tasche mit ihrer neuen Nähmaschine nähen. Die Stoffe etc. habe ich noch nach Julies Wünschen und meinen Ideen zugeschnitten, genäht haben wir allerings nicht mehr viel. Julie hat leider eine dicke Mittelohrentzündung bekommen und da war nicht mehr so viel mit Nähen etc. Also habe ich alles mitgenommen und werde ihr die Tasche fertig nähen. Davon später aber mal mehr.

After this we visited Jeannette's creative center. She lives in such a beautiful olf house and has a huge sewing-room. Just beautiful! And because I couldn't take all my quilting stuff with me on the road, I used the chance. Newly sewing Julie wanted to sew a purse with her new sewing machine. So I cut the fabric and everything else for her like she wanted it to and how I thought it would be ok. But we didn't sew at all, because Julie got a heavy acute ear and there wasn't much about sewing or something like this. So, I took the pieces with me and I will sew the purse for her. But later more about it.

Bei Jeannette habe ich auch endlich Quanta kennengelernt - ihr Schäferhund, die nicht weiß, dass sie ein Schäferhund ist. Ich glaube, sie war voll im Osterhasen-Fieber, denn die "Kleine" hüpfte durch den Garten wie ein Gummiball - oder halt Osterhase. Aber sowas von lieb, süß und verknuddelt! *hachz*

I finally got to know Quanta - Jeannette's sheepdog, who doesn't know, that she is a sheepdog. I think, she had an Easter-bunny-fever, because the "little" lady jumped through the garden like a rubber ball - or like a Easter bunny. But she is so lovely, cute and just cuddling!

So, und wer nun bis hierhin durchgehalten hat: Ihr dürft euch mit der linken Hand auf die rechte Schulter klopfen! Das nenne ich Durchhaltevermögen! Und zur Belohnung gibt es nun auch endlich die versprochenen Bilder. Viel Spaß!

Kaufrausch und Geburtstage

Im Januar gibt es bei Nadel und Faden immer die Aktion "10% auf alle Weihnachtsstoffe"! Wisst ihr, dass das ganz schlecht für meinen Geldbeutel ist, aber wunderbar für meine Stoffsammlung? *gg*
Ganz besonders toll finde ich, dass es im Moment so viele schön und moderne Weihnachtsstoffe gibt, die man auch ohne Probleme das ganze Jahr einsetzen kann. Super, oder? Geht Euch das auch so?

In January there is always a special offer at Nadel und Faden "10% off Christmas fabrics"! Can you imagine, that this isn't good for my moneybag, but wonderful for my fabric stash at home? *gg*
Especially I love, that at the moment there are so many beautiful and modern Christmas fabrics, which you can use during the whole year. Amazing, isn't it? Do you think this, too?

Und im Januar stehen bei uns immer sehr viele Geburtstage an. Drei sind schon durch und mindestens vier stehen noch an. Ich hatte euch doch letztens die Stoffschnipsel in Wimpelform gezeigt. Erinnert ihr Euch noch an das Bild?

In January there are so many birthdays around us. Three are already through and at least four are still coming. I showed you some little fabric pieces some days before. Do you remember this picture?

Marianne hatte ja richtig geraten und so kann ich euch heute die erste Geburtstagskarte zeigen. Meine Mutter hat nächsten Mittwoch Geburtstag und sie wird sie bekommen. Bei uns in der Familie sind wir ja alle große Katzenfans, also habe ich für sie den Schnipsel mit dem Katzengesicht verwendet. Die Idee für die Karte habe ich übrigens von Frollein Pfau. Sie hat einen wunderschönen Blog mit sehr vielen kreativen Ideen.

Marianne gave the right answer and now I can show you the first birthday card today. At Wednesday, it's my Mom's birthday and she will get it. We are all big cat lovers, so I took a piece of fabric with a cat face. I got the idea for this card at the blog of Frollein Pfau. She has a wonderful blog with so many creatively ideas.

Überholt... - Tula Pink Blöcke 56-67

In den letzten Wochen bin ich ja nicht dazu gekommen, am Tula Pink City Sampler weiter zu nähen geschweige denn überhaupt zu nähen. Das habe ich gestern mit dem Schneiden von Stöffchen und dem Zusammennähen heute nachgeholt. Et voilà! Ich bin doch glatt vor dem Terminplan von Sandra und Eva. Man sollte halt nicht nach so einer Abstinenz wieder nur ein wenig anfangen wollen. Das Nähen ging auch wieder ganz flott. Ist auch gut so, denn das Sitzen ist noch nicht so einfach, auf dem Sitzring und einem Drehstuhl recht wackelig und auf Dauer nicht so angenehm. Muss mich also noch schonen.

During the last weeks, I hadn't the time to sew for the Tula Pink City Sampler nor sewing in any way. So, I cut some fabrics yesterday and sewed them together today. Et voilà! I'm ahead of shedule by Sandra and Eva. You shouldn't let me begin with such a little bit after such an abstinence. The sewing was easy and fast like everytime. And that's good, because sitting isn't as easy with a seat ring and a swifel chair as I thought. I have to save myself.

Heute Vormittag habe ich Post bekommen. Vor Weihnachten hatte ich die Jeannette gebeten, mir bei ihrer "Stoff-Dealerin" einen Tula Pink Stoff zu besorgen. Ich liebe Diesen Waschbärenstoff und habe ihn schon nicht mehr gefunden. Aber Jeannette hat ihn noch bekomme und mir zugeschickt. Aber glaubt mal nicht, dass das alles war! Die liebe Jeannette hat mir einen wunderschönen MugRug geschenkt. Vielen lieben Dank dafür!!! Und den Stoff habe ich gleich in einem Block verwendet. Vielleicht werde ich dann auch gleich den einen Block noch mal neu nähen, den ich noch mal ändern möchte. Mal gucken. Ich bin mir da noch nicht ganz sicher und vielleicht warte ich auch, bis ich alle Blöcke zusammen sehe.

Today in the morning I got mail. Before Christmas I asked Jeannette to buy me a special Tula Pink fabric. I love this racoon-fabric and couldn't find it anymore. But Jeannette got it and send it to me. But you dont't believe that was all, do you? The gentle Jeannette gave me this wonderful Mugrug. Thank you soooo much!!! And the fabric was immediatly used in one of the blocks. Maybe I will sew one block, which I don't really like in its present value, again. Let's have a look. I'm not sure at the moment and maybe I will wait until I see all blocks together.

ein schönes Treffen / a nice meeting

Heute habe ich mal versucht, wieder richtigen Kontakt mit der Außenwelt aufzunehmen. Also Sporthose gegen eine Jeans getauscht, Schuhe an, Auto mit Hilfe meines GöGa vom Schnee befreien (er ist echt ein Schatz) und direkt in die Tiefgarage des Einkaufszentrums. Von dort in die oberste Etage gefahren und zur Rolltreppe. Und da wartete schon Sonja von "Taschen, Quilts und mehr" auf mich. Sie ist für eine Hochzeit hier in Stuttgart und da wir uns Anfang Dezember schon nicht treffen konnte, haben wir es jetzt noch einmal probiert. Und ich wollte auch mal wieder an die frische Luft und das nicht wegen des nächsten Verbandswechsel im Krankenhaus - das könnt ihr verstehen, oder? ;o) Passend zum eisigen Wetter haben wir und ein Eis gegönnt und dann ging das Geschnatter auch schon los. Es war sehr schön und besonders habe ich mich über eine kleine Eule von Sonja gefreut. Ist sie nicht süß? Und so passend! Sie ist gleich an meinen Schnabelina gewandert und kann von dort den Ausblick genießen. Außerdem hatte ich bei Sonja noch ein paar Stöffchen bestellt, die sie mir gleich mitgebracht hat. Und dann war sie noch ein echtes Schätzchen! Sie war bei Birgit Klein in deren Laden "PatchCom". Dort gibt es so einen süßen Katzen-und-Maus-Stoff von Timeless Treasure, den ich ja total süß finde und schon lange drum herum schlawenzel. Eigentlich wollte ich auch immer nach Schönbuch, da es ganz in der Nähe ist, aber im Moment ist das ja doch ein wenig schwierig. Also habe ich Sonja gebeten, mir etwas von dem Stoff mitzubringen und ihr seht ihn ganz oben auf dem unteren Foto! Ist Sonja nicht super? Wir haben uns echt gut verstanden, viel geschnackt (wie man so schön im Norden sagt und da kommen wir ja beide her) und Spaß gehabt. Die Zeit ist wie im Fluge vergangen und jetzt muss ich mich ein wenig schonen, damit ich morgen wieder fit genug für den Jahreswechsel bin. Bis dahin wünsche ich Euch alles gute und einen guten und gesunden Start ins Neue Jahr!

Today, I tried to estabilsh real contact to the outside world. So, I substitute the trunks against Jeans, put the shoes on, freed the car from snow with the help of my husband (he is a real treasure) and drove directly into the underground garage of the mall. Thence directly I went directly into the highest floor and to the escalator. There waited Sonja by "Taschen, Quilts und mehr". She came for a marriage to Stuttgart and because we couldn't meet in the beginning of December, we tried it today again. And I wanted to get some fresh air without being on the way to the hospital for the next change of bandage - I think you can understand this, don't you? ;o) Convinient to the frosty weather we ate some ice cream and then the gaggle began. It was really great and I am so pleased about the little owl by Sonja. Isn't she cute? And so fitting! She is now hanging at my Schnabelina and can enjoy the outlook. Furthermore Sonja brought some fabrics along, which I ordered at her website. And then she was a real sweetheart, too! She visited the shop by Birgit Klein - "PatchCom". There you can get a totally cute cats-and-mice-fabric by Timeless Treasure, which I love and poke along it for some tie. Actually I wanted to visit the shop by myself, because Schönbuch is right in the neighborhood, but at the moment it's a little bit difficulty. So, I asked Sonja to buy it for me and she did! You can see it at the top of the lower picture! Isn't Sonja a jewel? We get along very well, chatted a lot (like we say in Northern Germany, where we both come from) and had a ot of fun. The time spun away and now I have to save myself a little bit, so I'm fit for the turn of teh year. Until then I wish you all the best and a nice and healthy start into the new year!

Neue Stoffe und die nächste Krabbeldecke

Zunächst einmal möchte ich mich wieder einmal bei euch für die vielen lieben Kommentare bedanken. Das Buch ist übrigens total toll und inspirierend. Und ich kann euch leider noch nicht erzählen, was aus den grünen Hexagons geworden ist. ;-) Und herzlich Willkommen an meine neuen Leser!

First I like to thank you for your many gently comments. The book is really great and a real inspiration. And unfortunately I still cannot tell you something new about the green hexagons. ;-) And a happy welcome to my new readers!

Ich war Freitag/Samstag in Berlin und da die Zeit kurz war, habe ich es mit meiner Freundin leider nur in das Geschäft "Knopfloch" in der Nähe dea Alexanderplatzs geschafft und nicht in mein favorisiertes Patchworkgeschäft. Aber ich habe doch ein paar Stöffchen gefunden. Süß, oder?

I was in Berlin last Friday and Saturday and because of not having much time, me and my friend could only visit the shop "Knopfloch" near Alexanderplatz and not my favorit patchwork-shop. But I have found some cute fabrics, haven't I? 

Und gerade habe ich dann das Top für die nächste Krabbeldecke fertig bekommen. In ein paar Tagen oder Wochen - wer weiß das schon so genau ;-) - bekommt ein Kollege von mir sein erstes Kind. Jetzt muss ich mich in den nächsten Tagen sputen, damit die Decke auch rechtzeitig fertig wird. 

And just this moment I finished the top of a new baby-quilt. During the next few days or weeks - who really knew ;-) - one of my colleges will get his first child. So I have zo hurry during the next day to finish zhe quilt in time.

Mal wieder ein Lebenszeichen

Moin Moin, ihr Lieben!
Heute nur mal wieder ein kleines und kurzes Lebenszeichen von mir. Die Arbeit hat mich gerade wieder voll im Griff und mein Mann meinen Laptop. ;-) Sein PC ist so kaputt, dass er einen neuen braucht.
Erst einmal will ich mich ganz arg für die vielen, vielen lieben Kommentare bedanken! Ich freu mich immer so, wenn eine Benachrichtigung in mein Postfach flattert. Die Tasche hatte am Wochenende ihre große Premiere und sie hat den Test wunderbar bestanden. Es hat so viel reingepasst! Mein Arbeitsplatz war bei einem Kurs noch nie so ordentlich. ;-) Zum Kurs aber später mehr.
Dann vielen Dank an Christiane und Nina für ihre Giveaways! Ich hab doch glatt zweimal gewonnen. Auch dazu später mal mehr.
Ansonsten versuche ich gerade ein (neues) System in meine Stoffe zu bekommen und war deswegen mehrfach beim Schweden um neue Regale und Boxen zu kaufen. Am Wochenende habe ich das Thema hoffentlich abgeschlossen kann mich wieder voll und ganz dem Patchen, Quilten und kreativ sein widmen. - Ach ja! Drei von euch sollten hoffentlich heute Post haben. ;-)

Wenn der Postmann dreimal klingelt... / If the postman rings three times...

...dann warten da schöne viele Dinge! :) Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich bei Saskia ein Mini Hex N More mit Stoff und Anleitung für einen Mini Lotus bestellt. Die Sachen sind heute angekommen und Saskia hat sogar noch eine Rolle Aurifil-Garn beigelegt. Eine wunderschöne Farbe! Vielen lieben Dank, Saskia!!! Und ebenfalls vor ein paar Tagen hatte Susanne gepostet, dass sie einen Teil ihrer Tula Pink Stoffe verkaufen wollte. Tula Pink Stoffe? Ding, ding!!! Da habe ich gleich mal zugeschlagen und die Stoffe werde ich im City Sampler verwenden. *freu* Auch Dir viele Dank, Susanne!!! Naja, und der dritte Karton hatte noch ein paar Sachen für unsere Hochzeit nächste Woche. Da gibt es dann bestimmt später ein paar Bilder. *grins*

 ...then there are some nice things waiting for me! :) Some days before yesterday I ordered a Mini Hex N More with fabric and instroduction for a mini lotus by Saskia. Today the things arrived and Saskia put a bobbin of Aurifil-yarn in addition into the box. A wonderful color! Thank you so much, Saskia!!! And also some days before yesterday Susanne posted, that she wants to sell some of her Tula Pink's fabrics. Fabrics by Tula Pink? Ring, ring!!! I had to snap at the chance and I will use the fabrics at my City Sampler. *smile* Thank you so much, too, Susanne!!! Ok, and the third paket contains something for our wedding next week. I'm sure, there will be some pictures after this. *grin*

Nachlese zur Nadelwelt 2014

Am Sonntag war ich ja auf der Nadelwelt in Karlsruhe. Meine Vorsätze? a) Stoffe brauche ich nur ein paar wenige für meinen City Sampler - und b) wenn mein kleiner Rucksack voll ist, höre ich auf. Ok, an meinen zweiten Vorsatz habe ich mich gehalten. Nur wenige Stoffe zu kaufen war leider nicht drin. ;) Ich muss gestehen, dass ich langsam zu einem Moda-Junkie werde. Momentan haben sie fast nur total schöne Kombinationen auf dem Markt.
Auf meiner Einkaufsliste standen:
- die aktuelle Quilting Arts
- das fehlende Gurtband für meine Schnabelina Bag
- Karabinerhaken für meine Schnabeline Bag
- einen Couching-Fuß für meine NäMa
- King-Tut-Garne, die ich mit meiner Mutter teilen kann
- den neuesten Schnitt für die Arya-Tasche von Machwerk
Die Liste ist schon ganz schön lang, oder? Ich habe alles bekommen und noch einiges mehr. OMG! Aber ich weiß bei allem, wofür ich es einsetzen und verarbeiten werde.

On Sunday, I went to the Nadelwelt in Karlsruhe. My intentions? a) fabrics only some few for my City Sampler - and b) if my bagpack is full, I will quit. Ok, I kept with the second one. But buy only some few fabrics, I couldn't keep. ;) I have to admit, that I develop to a real Moda-junkie. At the moment, near to all their combinations are so beautiful.
On my shopping list:
- the actual Quilting Arts
- the missing strap of my Schnabelina bag
- snap-hooks for my Schnabelina bag
- a couching-foot for my sewing machine
- King-Tut-threads, which I will share with my mom,
- the newest cut of the Arya-bag designed by Machwerk
A very long list, isn't it? I got everything and many more. OMG! But I know already for everything, how and for what I will use them.

Es war ein schöner Tag. Ich kann euch nur empfehlen, am Sonntag nach Karlsruhe zu fahren. Es ist deutlich leerer und ruhiger und man kann sich auch mal mit den Verkäufern unterhalten - schöne Grüße an Griselda von Machwerk! Natürlich sind vielleicht schon ein, zwei Dinge ausverkauft, aber das habe ich nur an wenigen Ständen gehabt. Die neue Halle außerhalb von Karlsruhe finde ich super, denn die Gänge sind deutlich breiter. Die Idee, einen Teil der Ausstellung in die Verkaufshalle zu intergrieren, ist auch super, denn so kann man sich auch mal ein paar schöne Quilts anschauen und sich danach mit freiem Kopf wieder in den Kaufrausch stürzen. Nadelwelt 2015 - ich komme!!!

It was a lovely day. I can advise you go to Karlsruhe on Sunday. It is obvious much more empty and calm and you can talk to the seller - greetings to Griselda by Machwerk! Naturally, there may be one, two things out of sale, but that counts only for some few booths. The new hall is great, because the corridors are much wider. The idea to integrate a part of the exhibition is great, too, because by this you can have a look on beautiful quilts and after this jump back into shopping frenzy. Nadelwelt 2015 - I will come!!!

Eine schöne (Fast-)Überaschung

Heute Abend hatte ich eine schöne Überaschung im Briefkasten. Ein Umschlag von Sonja! Letzte Woche hatte sie mir geschrieben, dass ich bei ihrer Verlosung einen halben Meter Stoff nach Wahl gewonnen habe. *jipieh* Ich gewinn ja sonst nichts. Und noch mehr Glück hatte ich, dass mein Wunschstoff passend dazu wieder reingekommen ist. *freu^2* Ganz lieben Dank, Sonja!!! Ich weiß auch schon, was ich aus dem schönen Stoff machen werde. Meine beste Freundin hat sich vor ein paar Wochen eine Nähmaschinen gekauft und von mir bekommt Sie gutes Nähgarn, damit sie nicht auf welches vom Discounter zurückgreift. Den Zahn habe ich ihr gleich gezogen. ;o) Und zu den Garnen bekommt sie eine Tasche aus dem tollen Sew Retro-Stoff! Mal gucken, wann ich es schaffe. Im Moment sind wir bei der Arbeit ziemlich ausgelastet, so dass ich es abends nicht mehr an die NäMa komme. Und eigentlich müsste ich ja noch mindestens einen NYB nähen. Ich musste ja schon letzten Monat aussetzen. Mmh, mal schauen. Ich hoffe, es klappt.

This evening I had a nice surprise in my mail box. An envelope by Sonja! Last week she wrote me, that I won half a meter at her lottery. *jipieh* Normally, I never win. And what a luck, the fabric of my choose came in right these days. *glad^2* Thank you so much, Sonja!!! I know, what I will sew with this fabric. My best friend bought a sewing machine some weeks ago and will get some good threads, so she doesn't have to fall back to thread from the discounter. This tooth I pulled her in a moment. ;o) And for this threads she will get a bag out of the fantastic sew retro-fabric! We'll wait and see, when I can do this. At the moment we are working to full capacity, so I do not sew in the evening. And actually I have to sew at least a NYB. I had to pause last month. Hopefully, it will work.
