TSAL2017 im Juli: "Ahoi! Jetzt wird's maritim"

Mmh, maritim! Das ist ja jetzt nicht soooo mein Thema. Als Jerseystoff hätte ich was, aber als Patchworkstoff? Ne, nicht soooo direkt. Erst hatte ich die Idee, eine Pixi-Buch-Tasche mit Wikingerstoff zu nähen. Das OK hatte ich, aber meine Zeit bis zum Monatsende ist knapp bemessen. Nächste Woche geht es schon wieder los zur Hochzeit von Freunden und dafür muss noch was genäht werden. Aber bevor ich damit anfangen kann, muss ich erst einmal aufräumen - dachte ich. *gg* Naja, beim Aufräumen habe ich einen kleinen Zettel für die TaTüTa-Maße gefunden. Also habe ich blauen Fischstoff und einen roten Stoff mit roten Linien genommen und eine weitere TaTüTa genäht. Die Maße musste ich etwas anpassen, damit es auch gut passt und nun ist sie fertig. Meine Schwester wird sie bekommen. Sie hat zwei Aquarien.

Mmh, maritime! That's not my favorite theme. I have a jersey fabric, but not a patchwork one. My first idea was to sew a pixi-book-pouch with a viking fabric. I had an OK, but my time is rare until month's end. Next week, we will travel to friend's wedding and naturally, I will have to sew something. But before I can start this project, I had to tidy up my working space - I wanted to. *gg* Ok, during tidieng up my cutting place I found a little piece of paper with the dimensions of a TaTüTa. I had to fix the dimensions, but now, it's working. My sister will get the pouch. She has two aquarius.

Noch eine Mini-GeoBag und eine TaTüTa

Ich konnte es gestern nicht lassen und habe noch eine Mini-GeoBag genäht. Dieses Mal aus einer alten Jeans von meinem Mann und mit Knöpfchen. Eigentlich bin ich kein großer Pink-Fan, aber so akzentuiert mag ich es sehr gerne. Das Täschchen bleibt bestimmt bei mir, das aus Kork geht sehr wahrscheinlich auf Wanderschaft.

Yesterday, I couldn't resist and have seen another mini GeoBag. This one is made out of an old Jeans by my husband and some little bottoms. Normally, I am not a fan of pink, but this little accents are really nice. This bag will stay in our house and the first one will get a new home.

Diese Tasche hat auch gleich noch eine kleine Lehrstunde für mich gehabt: Jeans mit Elastan darf man nicht zu heiß bügeln. Ich hatte erst eine Jeans von mir genommen und den Stoff erst nach dem Zuschneiden gebügelt. Es hat sich sofort zusammen gerollt. Naja, das ist ja noch nichtso schlimm, aber irgendwie war dann das Vlies größer als der Stoff. Upps! *gg*

This little bag gave me a good lesson as well: jeans with Elastan are not supposed to be ironed too hot. I first wanted to use a old jeans of mine and ironed the fabric after cutting. First it coiled up. Ok, that wouldn't be worse, but anyhow the batting was now bigger than the fabric. Upps! *gg*

Meine Mutter fragte mich letztens, ob es nicht ein Täschchen für Taschentücher gibt. Na klar! Eine TaTüTa muss her und die gehen schnell. Die Vorlage ist von Modage. Allerdings wird sie mit Reißverschluss größer als benötigt. Jetzt passen anderthalb Packungen rein, aber das macht ja nichts.

My Mom asked me lately, if there isn't a little purse for handkerchiefs. Yes, it is! A TaTüTa had to be sewn and they are really fast done. The tutorial is by Modage. But with a zipper, it became bigger as needed. So, now, she can put 15 instead of 10 in it.
