Around the World Blog Hop

Vorletzte Woche bekam ich eine ganz liebe E-Mail aus den USA, über die ich mich sehr gefreut habe. Tina von seaside stiches lud mich ein, am "Around the World Blog Hop" teilzunehmen! Ich habe mich so gefreut, dass Tina an mich gedacht hat und ich fühle mich auch sehr geehrt!!! Danke, Tina! Seit ca. einem halben Jahr lesen wir unsere Blogs und schreiben uns auch ab und zu hin und her.
The week before last I got an e-mail from the USA, I was really pleased about ist. Tina at seaside stitches invited me to join the "Around the World Blog Hop"! I was sooo happy, that she thought of me and I'm so honored!!! Thank you, Tina! For about a half a year we are reading each other blog and now and then we wrote each other, too.

mein erster großer Quilt - my first big quilt

Für alle, die den "Around the World Blog Hop" nicht kennen, hier eine kurze Erklärung, was das ganze überhaupt ist. Jeden Montag schreibt ein Blogger irgendwo auf der Welt ein wenig über sich, was er/sie so macht und warum bzw. wie. Und jede Woche versucht der- oder diejenige zwei bis drei neue Blogger zu finden, die Spaß daran haben, etwas über sich zu schreiben. Ziel ist es, neue Blogger in der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen. Ich finde es eine super Idee!
For all, who don't know "Around the Blog Hop", here a little explanation about what it is. Every Monday a Blogger anywhere in the world a little bit about her-/himself, what he or she is doing an why respectively how. And every week he or she tries to find three other blogger, who have fun writing something about his or her. The purpose is to get to know new blogger around the world. I love the idea of it!

Woran arbeite ich gerade?

What am I working on?

Momentan habe ich drei größere Projekte - zwei kennt ihr schon, das dritte habe ich letzte Woche erst angefangen. At the moment, I work on three major projects - two of them you already know, the third one is a new one, I started last week.

Erinnert ihr euch noch an den modernen Quilt für meine beste Freundin? Ich habe inzwischen ein wenig weiter gequiltet, aber es dauert noch ein wenig, bis er fertig ist. Julie war ja meine Trauzeugin vor zwei Wochen (Vielen lieben Dank noch einmal, Süße!), aber im ganzen Rummel habe ich ganz vergessen, ihr die Decke mal zu zeigen.
Do you remember the modern quilt for my best friend? I've quilted a little bit more, but it will take some time more to finish it. Julie was my witness two weeks ago (Thank you so much for all, sweetheart!), but I forget to show her the quilt because of all the hype.

Dann arbeite ich ja immer wieder blockweise (*gg* wie passend) am Tula Pink City Sampler. 25-1 Blöcke sind fertig - Nr. 23 werde ich noch einmal neu nähen. Da sticht mir das Weiß zu sehr aus dem rest heraus.
The next I work in blocks (*gg* how suitible) at the Tula Pink City Sampler. 25-1 blocks are finished - no. 23 will be sewn again, because for me, the white stands out too much.

Und das dritte Projekt, dass ich euch vorstellen möchte, ist die Hausaufgabe der Modern Quilt Guild Stuttgart. Wir treffen uns ja jeden zweiten Monat und jedes Mal gibt es ein neues Thema. Im Mai war es "Hexagons". Die Idee war ziemlich schnell geboren - nur nicht umgesetzt. Unser Treffen im Ende Juli war vier Tage vor unserer Hochzeit und ich muss gestehen, dass ich es einfach vergessen habe. Uschi hat mir dann am nächsten Tag gesagt, dass die neue Aufgabe über die Sommerferien sei, ein altes Projekt fertig zu stellen. Wie praktisch!!! Also habe ich meinen Urlaub genutzt und das Thema endlich umgesetzt. Es soll eine Art "Hexagon-Tetris"-Quilt werden. Die Stoffe (Moda Soho Chic) habe ich in Karlsruhe auf der Nadelwelt gekauft. Das Top ist zu etwas mehr als 2/3 fertig und ich habe auch schon ein paar Ideen zum Quilting. Leider kommen die Farben auf dem Foto nicht so gut zur Geltung.
And the third project, I like to show you, is a homework of the Modern Quilt Guild Stuttgart. We meet every second month and every time, there will be a new theme. In May it was "hexagons". The idea was really quick born, but not soon implemented. Our next meeting was in the end of July - four days before our wedding and I must admit, that I'd got over it. Uschi told me the next day, that our new task is to finish an old homework. How convinient!!! So, I benefit of my holidays and implemented the theme. It shall be a "hexagon-tetris"-quilt. I bought the fabrics (moda soho chic) in Karlsruhe at the Nadelwelt this year. The top is finished about a bit more than 2/3 and I also have some ideas for the quilting. Unfortunately the colors doesn't stand out as the do in real.

Warum mache ich das alles? 

Why do I create what I do?

Tja, gute Frage! Irgendwas kreatives habe ich schon immer gemacht. Als Kind habe ich viel gemalt, gebastelt und auch geklöppelt. was ich von meiner Mutter gelernt habe. Im Studium haben mir meinen Eltern eine Nähmaschine geschenkt und ich habe schon angefangen, kleine Sachen wie Taschen u.ä. zu nähen. Hier in Stuttgart hatte ich dann abends relativ viel Zeit - am Anfang war mein Mann ja noch in Aachen und wir haben uns nur am Wochenende sehen können. Und dann war da die Ausstellung der Cannstatter Stichlinge vor vier Jahren. Das war dann der Auslöser für das Patchwork-Fieber, für das es bis jetzt zum Glück noch kein Heilmittel gibt. *gg* Und seitdem ist Patchwork und Quilten mein Ausgleich zu meiner Arbeit. Es macht einfach Spaß, neue Sachen aus Stoffen zu machen und sie neu zur Geltung zu bringen. Außerdem mag ich auch das Quilten sehr gerne - bishin zum Thread Painting - auch wenn das leider noch viel zu kurz kommt. Dafür freu ich mich schon z.B. auf den nächsten Kurs bei Elsbeth Nusser-Lampe im September. Dort kann man seiner Kreativität so richtig seinen freien Lauf geben.

Yep, a very good question! I always made something creative. In my childhood I painted, drew, did handicrafts and made bobbin lace, I learned by my mom. During the university I received my first sewing machin by my parents and started sewing little projects like bags and so on. Here in Stuttgart I had much time in the evening - in the beginning my husband was still in Aachen/Aix-la-Chapell and we've could seen each other only during the weekends. And then there was the exhibition of the Cannstatter Stichlinge four years ago. That was the trigger of the patchwork-fever, for which there is no healing at the moment - what a luck! *gg* And for this time patchwork and quilting is my balance for my work. It makes fun, making new things out of fabric and to let them shine in a new way. In addition I like quilting very much - up to thread-painting - as well it's glimpsed. But for this I'm really excited for the next course by Elsbeth Nusser-Lampe in September. There you can really let your creativity flow.

Wie läuft bei mir der "kreative Prozess" ab?

How does my creating process work?

Mmh, auch eine gute Frage. Aber probieren wir es mal. Oft sehe ich auf einem von euren vielen schönen Blogs und in den Weiten des World Wide Web etwas tolles, was mich auf neue Ideen bringt. Oder es sind einfach die Stoffe, die ich irgendwo sehe (und kaufe) oder aber, wie im Falle der Modern Quilt Guild, eine bestimmte Aufgabe oder ein Kursthema. Dann fängt bei mir erst einmal die Kopfarbeit an. In meinem Kopf brodeln dann so viele kleine Ideen durcheinander, die ich erst einmal sortieren muss. Irgendwann versuche ich es dann zu Papier bzw. mittels Photoshop Elements in eine Datei zu bekommen. Heraus kommt dann eine Vorlage, die ich im Laufe Arbeit oft noch einmal über Bord werfe und abändere.

Mmh, another good question. But let's have a try. Often, I see something great at your handsome blogs and in the width of the world wide web, which produces new ideas in my head. Or the fabrics, I see (and buy) anywhere or, like in the case of the modern quilt guild, there is a certain task or a course-theme. Then there starts the mental work. In my head brew higgledy-piggledy all the little ideas, which I have to sort. And some day I try to get this idea onto paper or with the help of Photoshop Elements into a file. Out there becomes a pattern, which I often change totally during the process of sewing.

Martina von Stufen zum Gericht wird nächste Woche Montag, also am 25.08.2014 posten. Sie kommt aus Köln und ich habe sie Anfang des Jahres kennengelernt, als sie zu einem Katzen-Quilt-Along aufgerufen hat. Es hat total Spaß gemacht und sie hat z.B. gerade einen tollen Post über das European Quilt Festival in Birmingham geschrieben.
Martina at Stufen zum Gericht will post next Monday, August 25th. She lives in Cologne and we get to know in the beginning of the year because of a cat-quilt-along, she anounced. We had so much fun and she had just wrote an amazing post about the European Quilt Festival at Birmingham.

Marion von Kunzfrau-Kreativ aus Berlin wird erst übernächste Woche Montag, also am 1.09.2014 posten, da sie nächsten Montag im Urlaub ist. Marion ist sehr kreativ und vor allem produktiv - sie patched, strickt, klöppelt, läuft und macht noch vieles mehr! Meine Mutter kennt sie von gemeinsamen Klöppelwochen in Bad Laer und vor ein paar Wochen dufte ich sie in Berlin auch endlich mal "in live" kennenlernen.
Marion at Kunzfrau-Kreativ from Berlin will post the next but one week, so September 1st, because she will be on vacation next Monday. Marion is very creativ and especially productive - she quilts, knits, makes bobbin laces, runs and so much more! My mother knows her for their making-bobbin lace-weeks in Bad Laer and some weeks ago I had the chance to get to know her "in live".

Erst einmal ganz vielen lieben Dank für die vielen Kommentare!!! Ich freue mich immer über jeden einzelnen ganz besonders. - Entschuldigt bitte, dass ich in letzter Zeit so unregelmäßig kommentiere. Unser Internet spinnt derzeit und vergisst Eingaben. Somit gehen leider einige Kommentare immer wieder verloren. Ich hoffe, da bessert sich bald wieder was.
First, I want to thank you so much for your comments!!! I'm always happy about every single one. - I'm sorry to comment your posts so irregular. Our internet isn't very stable at the moment and forgets entries. So, some comments goes missing time by time. I hope, that will be fixed soon.

Diese Woche war mal wieder die Hölle los bei der Arbeit und seit Freitag ist hier temperaturtechnisch die Hölle auf Erden angekommen. ^^ Es ist gerade 23:47 Uhr und draußen sind noch 28°C!!! In der Wohnung ist es gefühlt noch wärmer, weil kein Wind geht und wir eine Dachgeschosswohnung haben - mit einem Kaltdach... also ein altes ohne Wärmedämmung.
This week hell breaks loose at work and since Friday it feels like hell on earth, too. ^^ Now, it is 23h47 and still 28°C outside!!! In our flat, it feels much hotter, because there is no wind and our flat is situated under the roof - a cold roof without insulation.

Von Samstag auf Sonntag war eine Freundin da und wir haben uns versucht, Accessoires zu meinem Brautkleid zu kreieren. Wir waren semi-erfolgreich. Die Kette von Isa wird bestimmt wunderschön, aber beim Fascinator haben wir dann doch aufgegeben. Da fehlen einfach ein paar professionelle Zubehöre. Also doch das Internet befragen und in zwei Wochen etwas aufpimpen.
From Saturday to Sunday a friend of mine visited us and we tried to create some accessories for my wedding dress. The chain, which will be made by Isa, will surely be beautiful, but we give in to create a facsinator. There are too many component parts missing. So, I asked the web and it will be pimped up in two weeks.

Anfang Juni haben meine Tante und mein Onkel innerhalb weniger Tage Geburtstag. Mein Onkel ist schon seit Kindertagen überzeugter Disney-Fan und hat fast allen in der Familie Namen aus Entenhausen gegeben. Er ist Mickey und hat deswegen eine Mickey-Karte von mir bekommen.
In the beginning of June, it's my aunt's and my uncle's birthday within a few days. My uncle is a passionate fan of Disney since childhood. He gave nearly everyone of our family a name of Entenhausen. He is Mickey and because of that, he got a Mickey-card.

Die nächsten zwei Tagen bin ich beruflich in der Nähe von Münster unterwegs. Da ich ja schlecht meine NäMa mitnehmen kann, werde ich mir Stoffe zum Schneiden mitnehmen. So langsam werde ich mal meine Hausaufgabe für die Modern Quilt Guild zum Thema "Hexagons" in Angriff nehmen.
During the next two days I will be job-related next to Münster. Because I cannot take my sewing-machine with me, I will take some fabrics to cut on tour. Slowly, I will begin my homework for the modern quild guild with the theme "hexagons".

Eine Frage noch zum Schluss: Wer von Euch wird denn Ende Juni in Berlin auf die "Textile Art" gehen? Ich werde das Wochenende mit meiner Mutter in Berlin verbringen und Samstag auf die Ausstellung gehen. Mit Marion sind wir schon so gut wie verabredet. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn sich noch jemand meldet. :)
One last question: Will anyone of you visit the "Textile Art" at Berlin at the end of june? I will meet with my mom for the weekend and visit the exhibition on Saturday. We have nearly an appointment with Marion. I would be pleased, if someone will get in touch with me. :)

Tasche, Threatpainting und ein Schnuffeligel

Heute - also eigentlich schon gestern - habe ich mal ganz viele verschiedene Sachen gemacht:
Today - ok, actually yesterday at all - I've done several different things:

1. Pimp Julies Tasche  - Meine beste Freundin Julie soll ja noch (nachträglich) zu Weihnachten die selbstgenähte Handtasche bekommen. Ich hatte aber immer noch das Gefühl, dass da etwas fehlt... Heute dann die Lösung: Eine Stoffblume! Die hatte ich sogar noch fertig in der Schublade liegen. Dazu noch ein stoffbezogener Knopf und schon sieht die Tasche doch viel besser aus.
1. Pimp Julie's Purse - my best friend Julie should get the self sewn purse for christmas (belatedly). But I had always the feeling, there is still something missing... Today, there was the solution: a fabric flower! I had one ready to use still in a drawer. In addition a fabric coverd button and now, the purse looks right better, right?

 2. Threatpainting - Von meiner Schwester bekam ich ja zu Weihnachten ein Buch von Alison Holt über Threatpainting. Heute habe ich dann nach Anleitung ausprobiert, eine Blume mit der Nähmaschine zu "malen". Als erstes habe ich einen kleinen Stickrahmen mit einem Baumwollband umwickelt, damit der eingespannte Stoff besser hält. Dann habe ich die Blätter und Blüten "gemalt". Merke: Der Stoff muss noch besser eingespannt sein. Danach habe ich noch ein wenig mit Stoffmalfarbe experimentiert. Das Ergebnis ist jetzt noch nicht sooo toll, aber das war ja auch der erste Versuch. Das wird bestimmt noch besser.
2. Threatpainting - At christmas my sister gave me a book if Alison Holt about threadpainting. Today I tried to "paint" a flower with her tutorial. First, I wrapped a cotton-tape around embroidery hoop, so the fixed fabric will held in a better way. Then I "painted" the foliation and the blossoms. After this I experimented with fabric color. The result is not the best at all, but it is the first try. That will become better.

3. Der Schnuffeligel - Eine lange Freundin hat am 28.12.2013 ihr erstes Kind bekommen. Zur Geburt will ich dem Kleinen einen selbstentworfenen Schnuffeligel schenken. Die eine Seite ist ganz flauschig. Dort habe ich ein unterpolstertes Stoffherz appliziert. Die Rückseite und der Kopf besteht aus Baumwollstoffen. Ich habe mal gesehen, wie an ein Schnuffeltuch Webbänder eingenäht wurden. Das habe ich für die Stacheln verwendet. Ein Webband ist mein Label.
3. The smooch-hedgehog (I cannot find a better fitting english word, sorry!) - A long-time friend had her first child at 28.12.2023. For his birth I like to give the little boy a self-designed smooch-hedgehog. One site is absolutly fluffy. There I appliqued a padded heart of fabric. The back and the head are made of cotton-fabric. I had once seen a smooch-cloth with woven tapes at the border. This I used for the quills. One woven tape is my label.

Herzlich Willkommen, 2014!!!

Ein frohes neues Jahr Euch allen da draußen in Nah und Fern!!! Ich wünsche Euch alles Gute und das 2014 ein schönes und spannendes Jahr für Euch wird! Wir, Christian und ich, sind schon sehr gespannt, was das Jahr alles für uns bringen wird. Ein paar Dinge wissen wir schon in groben Zügen, andere werden uns sicherlich überraschen. Was das Jahr wohl Euch allen bringen wird?
A Happy New Year to all of you, near and far!!! I wish you all the best and that 2014 will be a nice and exciting year for you! Christian and me, we are very excited to see, what the year will bring to us. Some things we already knew along general lines, but others will surely surprise us. What will bring the year to all of you?

Aber jetzt erst einmal wieder zum Quilten, Nähen und all den anderen schönen Dingen auf dieser Welt. Den Jahreswechsel haben wir ganz ruhig zu Hause verbracht und das Feuerwerk von unserem Küchenfenster aus genossen. Da unsere Wohnung oberhalb von Zuffenhausen liegt, hatten wir einen tollen Blick bis nach Ludwigsburg.
But now back to quilting, sewing and all the other beautiful things on this world. The turn of the year we have spent quietly at home and enjoyed the fireworks out of our kitchen window. As our apartment is situated above Zuffenhausen, we have a great few up to Ludwigsburg.

Wie habt Ihr Eure Feiertage verbracht? Wir waren wieder viel unterwegs bei Familien und Freunden. Schön war's, aber auch anstrengend. ;-) Die Nähmaschine hatte ich auch wieder mit dabei. Für meine beste Freundin musste ich noch ihr Weihnachtsgeschenk nähen. Bei der kleinen Ausstellung bei Nadel und Faden dieses Jahr, habe ich ja einen Stoff gekauft, den ich gesehen hatte und sofort wusste, dass daraus einmal eine Tasche für Julie werden sollte. Den Schnitt habe ich mir selber ausgedacht. Er ist bestimmt noch optimierbar, aber ich hoffe, dass die Tasche gefällt und oft zum Einsatz kommt. Innendrin gibt es eine Reißverschlusstasche, zwei aufgesetzte Taschen, ein Band mit Karabinerhaken für die Schlüssel und mein Label.
How did you spend the holidays? We were back on the road again to all our family and friends. It was nice, but also stressful. ;-) I also took the sewing machine with me. For my best friend, I had to sew her christmas gift. In the little exhibition at Nadel und Faden this year, I brought a fabric, which I saw and knew in a moment, that this will be a pouch for Julie. The cut is my forst own design. It can surely be optimized, but I hope, the pouch will please her and will be used right often. Inside there is a zip-bag, two patch pockets, a strap with a snap hook for the keys an my label.

Eine andere sehr gute Freundin hat eine Kellerfaltentasche bekommen. Mir fällt gerade auf, dass der Jahreswechsel eine Zeit der Taschen zu sein scheint. Denn aus den Stoffen, aus denen ich die Kellerfaltentasche genäht habe, habe ich auch noch eine Tasche für mich angefangen. Sie ist fast fertig, aber mir fehlen noch die richtigen D-Ringe und Haken für die Träger. Ich habe schon welche ich silber, aber ich hätte sie gerne doch lieber in "antik". Morgen will ich noch einmal in die Stadt und schauen, ob ich welche in der richtigen Größe bekomme. Wenn sie fertig ist, zeige ich sie euch.
Another very good friend got a box pleat bag. By now, I notice, that the turn of the year is a time of bags, because the used fabrics for this little bag, I used for another big bag for me, too. It is nearly finished, but there are still missing some D-rings and hooks for the straps. I got some silver one, but I like to have some in "antique". Tomorrow I will go into town and will see, if I can get some. When the bag will be finished, I will show it to you.

Zu Weihnachten habe ich neben all den schönen Geschenken zwei tolle Bücher bekommen. Einmal ist es ein Buch mit vielen Ideen für schöne Geschenke. Das andere ist ein Buch von Alison Holt über Threadpainting "Machine Embroidered Flowers, Woodplants and Landscapes". Es ist soooo toll und beeindruckend, wie Alison Holt Fotos in gemalte und gestickte Bilder umsetzt. Hoffentlich kann ich das auch irgendwann auch einmal.
For Christmas I got among the other nice presents two great books. One is a book with lots of ideas for beautiful presents. The other one is a book of Alison Holt about threadpainting "Machine Embroidered Flowers, Woodplants and Landscapes". It is sooooo great and impressive, how Alison Holt makes painted and embroidered pictures out of a photo. I hope, I will do this some day in the future.

Ton Schulten

Vor zwei Wochen habe ich mal wieder an einem Kurs in meinem Lieblings-Patchworkladen teilgenommen. Es ging um "art quilts", die wir an Hand von Ton Schulten oder Eugen Stross Bildern genäht haben. Beide malen Landschaftsbilder, wobei die Bilder wie ein Mosaik aus Balken aufgebaut sind. Mein Quilt ist noch nicht fertig, aber ich freue mich schon aufs Quilten und Threadpainting. Da ich im Moment noch ein paar andere Sachen fertig machen muss, muss es leider noch ein wenig warten, bis ich es fertig machen kann.

Two weeks ago, I attended another course in my favourite patchwork-shop. It was about "art quilts", which were orientated on pictures of Ton Schulten and Eugen Stross. Both paint landscapes, which are built up like a mosaic of beams. My quilt isn't finished at all, but I'm looking forward to quilting and threadpainting. Because of some other projects, that have to be finished in the next weeks, this quilt has to wait a little bit until it will be finished.

Experimentelle Blumenminis

Drei Wochen Arbeit mit einigen Überstunden liegen hinter mir und dieses Wochenende habe ich endlich wieder Zeit zum Quilten. Freitag habe ich dann gleich das überfällige Muttertagsgeschenk genäht. Meine Mutter bekommt ja noch ein Löwenzahnbild. Et voilà! Hier ist es! Das Thread-Painting hat so einen Spaß gemacht und ich konnte mich richtig austoben. Jetzt sind alle drei Bilder fertig. Aber bevor meine Mutter sie (wieder) bekommt, werden sie erst im Juli bei "Nadel und Faden" ausgestellt.

Three weeks of work with a lot of kong hours are left behind and this weekend I've finally time to quilt again. On Friday, I've sewn the overdue Mother's Day present. My mom still waits for the hawkbit-picture. Et voilà! Here it is! The thread-painting was so much fun for me and I could let of steam. Now, all three pictures are finished. But my mom have to wait to get them (back) until they were shown at the exhibition at "Nadel und Faden" in July.

Experimentelle Blumenminis

Im März habe ich mal wieder an einem Kurs in meinem Lieblings-Patchworkladen teilgenommen - "Experimentelle Blumenminis". Zuerst konnte ich mir gar nichts darunter vorstellen, aber dann habe ich die Beispiele im Laden gesehen. Wow! Da hingen ganz viele Blumen-Artquilts, die in den verschiedensten Techniken hergestellt wurden: Fältelungen, Applikationen, Wollblumen und noch so vieles mehr. Hier seht ihr ein paar Beispiele. Die blauen Blumen sind kleine Versuchsstücke (ca. 7cm x 11cm). Der Mohn und die Ringelblumen sind fertige Quilts (20cm x 20xm) mit Binding, Tunnel etc., die meine Mutter zu Ostern bekommen hat. Ich hoffe, ich bekomme bald noch ein Bild, wie sie in ihrem bzw. meinem alten Zimmer hängen. Der Kurs hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und mir vor allem eine neue Technik näher gebracht: "Malen mit Garn" - im Deutschen hört sich das nicht so toll an wie im Englischen - "Threatpainting". Ich habe bereits ein Buch, in dem es auch um diese Technik geht, aber wenn man sie einmal ausprobiert hat, lässt sie einen nicht mehr los. Ich habe gleich ein paar Karten zu Ostern gemacht und sie an die Familie verschickt. "Gemalt" habe ich mit Madeira-Garn, Stärke 40. Ich hoffe, dass ich auf der "Nadelwelt 2013" in Karlsruhe noch mehr bekomme...

In March I participated in a quilting-class at my favourite quilting store – „experimental flower-minis”. In the beginning I couldn’t imaging under it, but then I saw the samples at the store. Wow! There were so much flower-artquilts made of so much different techniques: puckering, applications, wool-flowers and so many more. Here you can see my results. The blue flowers are tiny trial pieces (ca. 7cm x 11cm). The poppy and calendula are finished quilts (ca. 20cm x 20cm) with binding, tunneling etc. My mom got it as Easter-gift. I hope, I will get some pictures, when the will hang in her respectively my old room at home. We had so much fun in the class and showed me an amazing new technique – “thread painting”. I already got a book about this technique, but when you try it by yourself, it won’t let you go. I immediatly sew some Easter-cards for the family. I “painted” with Madeira-thread, strength 40. I hope to get some more at the “Nadelwelt 2013” in Karlsruhe…
