Oh, my deer! I'm soooo thankful to all your comments and e-mails during the last weeks! Especially during the last days I blushed several times and I couldn't resist to smile. It was really good to my little soul and my little ego. The last three weeks weren't the best of our life. It showed us, that all can come faster to an end, than you can imagine. So, me and my husband like to send you big thanks to all of you, who kept me and my husband so gently in your mind. Above all Martina and Jeannette, who actuated their sewing machines for us! Let's have a look, what they have sewn. I'm sorry, not to write more at this moment, but I'm not ready right now. Maybe later! I'm fine according to the circumstances - don't worry - and I hope, I'm totally fine next week. I'm really confident! And as the saying goes? "Fall, Stand Up, Fitting the Crown and Go On!"
But now, stop the moaning! So, I will show you, what I bought at Karlsruhe. Grete by Stoffsalat has a unutterable offer for Aurifil thread - 12 big spools for 80,-€ and you can choose the colors for your own - is this an offer, you can resist? I didn't and many others either as I could see. At home I had to pull out my other Aurifil threads and make some pictures. Have a look - I have to smile.
But you don't really think, that this was everything, do you? *gg* So, here is the rest: a really great scissor by Gingher - but be careful if my husband will use it ;P - some nice fabrics and charms and a starter set for self-made stamping and stamping color. I like to try to make a stamp with my moorland sheep - so I can label my quilts really individually.
Today a parcel from the USA has been arrived. I beat about the bush for a long time about the Robert Kaufmann Kona Cotton Fat Quarter Bundles at Craftsy. Asking Grit about her experiences and ordered. And only 8 days after they arrived - *sigh* 73 (!!!) different colors - and sorry, normally I always support my local or German shops. But if the savings are about 40-50€ (and I didn't include the time for searching the different fabrics), then I will cheat on.
Last but not least, I was really happy to meet and get to know some of you in Karlsruhe. At Saturday Brigitte by Rote Schnegge came to our exhibition. That was funny, because of a little confusion, because she came to us when I washed my hands and Conny has red curls, too. On Sunday, I met Eva, Sandra and Sabine. OMG, it was so much fun to get some faces to names! We had so much fun together and I really like meet again.
