Frohe Weihnachten! / Merry Christmas!

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich wünche Euch und Euren Lieben ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest und einen guten, gesunden Start ins neue Jahr! Unseres und auch die nächsten Wochen ist bzw. werden ein wenig anders ausfallen als geplant, da ich am Montag spontan noch einen Abstecher ins Krankenhaus machen musste. Nichts schlimmes, aber Reisen ist gerade nicht drin. Also schaue ich mir den Weihnachtsgottesdienst dieses Mal ausnahmsweise im Fernsehen an und werde die Besuche bei der Familie und Freunden ein wenig verschieben.

Hello my dears,

I wish you and your lovelies a wonderful Christmas and a good and healthy start into the new year! Ours and also the next weeks is respectivily will be a little bit different to our plans, because I had to make a short stop at the hospital on Monday. Nothing upsetting, but traveling is not an option at the moment. That's why I'm exceptionally looking the Christmas church service at TV and will delay the visits to my family and friends for a little while.

Ein letztes Mal...

....gibt es heute Bilder von der letzten Krabbeldecke für meinen Kollegen. Inzwischen durfte ich die kleine Maus auch selber mal aufm Arm halten - ist die SÜSS!!! Und bei der Gelegenheit habe ich auch Bilder von der Krabbeldecke im Einsatz bekommen. Aber schaut selbst. Kann man dem Strahlen denn wiederstehen? ;o) Und ich muss jetzt ja mal doch kurz angeben. Wer mich kennt, weiß, dass ich nicht der Typ dafür bin, aber die Aussage vom stolzen Papa muss ich mal weitergeben: "Bilder vom coolsten Geschenk ever!" Das geht doch runter wie Öl, oder? Da weiß ich dann immer wieder, dass es die richtige Entscheidung war, die Decke zu nähen.

For the last time, there will be some pictures of the baby quilt for my collegue. In the maenwhile I could hold the little cute mouse in my arms - is she CUTE!!! And by this I got some pictures of the baby quilt in action. But have a look. Could you resist such a smile? ;o) And I have to pose a little bit. Who knows me, knows that this isn't really my thing, but this statement of the proud daddy I have to tell you: "pictures of the coolest present ever!" It's like honey being poured down your back, isn't it? There I knew again, that it was the really right decision to sew this quilt.

Geschenke, Geschenke, Geschenke....

Lange habe ich nichts mehr von mir hören lassen. Bitte entschuldigt und gleichzeitig vielen Dank für die lieben Kommentare!!! In den letzten Wochen war so viel los - da ist leider kaum Weihnachtsstimmung hoch gekommen und gleichzeitig so viel los bei der Arbeit, dass ich kaum an die NäMa gekommen bin. Aber seit Donnerstag habe ich Urlaub und war mal wieder ein wenig fleißig. Weihnachten steht vor der Tür und da muss noch eine kleine Liste abgearbeitet werden. Aber ich durfte mich auch in den letzten Wochen über Geschenke freuen. Zum einen haben wir bei den Cannstatter Stichlingen gewichtelt und ich habe viel tolle kleine Geschenke in einer tollen selbstgenähten Verpackung und dann habe ich noch ein wunderschönes Nadelmäppchen bei Marion gewonnen. Vielen Dank noch einmal, liebe Marion! Und Geschenke, die ich genäht habe? Ok, fangen wir mal an... Täschchen (sorry, für die unscharfen Bilder, aber neue kann ich nicht mehr machen - und zwei habe ich als kleinen Auftrag genäht), Täschchen mit kleinem Hexenanhänger (und die Empfängerin ist gewiss keine Hexe ;) ), Leseknochen - mein erster und gleich mit Modifikation (Reißverschluss und Inlet zum Waschen), ein Tischläufer nach der Patchwork Spezial Weihnachten 05/2013, Filzkugel und zwei Haifisch-Federmäppchen für meine Patenkinder (beide von Craftsy). So, und nun die Bilder dazu! Wer so manche Geschenke bekommt, wird sich unterm Tannenbaum zeigen. Bis dahin wünsche ich Euch allen drei letzte schöne Vorweihnachtstage!

Long time has gone since you read something by me. I'm so sorry and at the same time so thankful for your gently comments!!! The last weeks, there was so much going on - there hasn't been any christmas feeling and at the same time so much to do at work, that I couldn't sew much. But since Thursday I'm on vacation and it is going much better. Christmas is coming and there is still a little list of presents to make. But I could be happy about some presents the last week, too. On the one hand we did a Santa secret with the Cannstatter Stichlinge and I got many little beautiful presents in a nice self-sewn packaging and on the other hand I won a really beautiful needlecase by Marion. Thank you again, dear Marion! And presents, I had sewn? Ok, let's have a look.... little bags (sorry for the blurry pictures, but they are already gone - two had been a little job), another little bag with a little witch tag (and the recipient isn't a witch for sure ;) ), a reading bone - my first one with a modification (zipper and inlet to wash it), a tabble runner out of the Patchwork Spezial Weihnachten 05/2013, a christmas felt ball and two shark pencil case for my two godchildren (both by craftsy). Ok, and now the pictures. I won't tell you who will gett the presents, that will be seen under the christmas tree. Until then, I wish you wonderful four last pre-Christmas period!

 

 

 

gerade noch geschafft

Jetzt ist schon wieder Sonntag... und so gerade eben habe ich noch das dritte Kapitel vom City Sampler fertig bekommen. Uff! So wirklich komme ich nämlich im Moment nicht zum Nähen. Zum einen hat mich seit fast zwei Wochen eine dicke Erkältung im Griff und zum anderen fordert die Arbeit gerade viel Zeit ein. Der übliche Jahresendspurt - ihr kennt das bestimmt. Aber ich wollte doch wenigstens beim Link-Up von Sandra und Eva wieder mitmachen können. Und? Geschafft! :)

Right now, it is Sunday again... and just in time I finished the third chapter of the City Sampler. Uff! I don't have the time to sew anyhow, you have to know. On the one hand I have a big cold for about nearly two weeks, on the other hand my work needs most of the time at the moment. The yearly finish spurt - I'm sure you know this. But I wanted to participate the link-up by Sandra and Eva. And? Done!

Hier also erst einmal die fehlenden acht Blöcke, danach alle 20 aus Kapitel 3 und der obligatorische Überblick. Auf der einen Seite bin ich froh, dass die Dreiecke nun durch sind, auf der anderen Seite haben sie zum Ende hin haben so auch ein wenig Spaß gemacht. Aber das warm werden hat doch recht lange gedauert.

First come the eight missing blocks, after this all 20 of the third chapter and the obligatory overview. On the one hand I'm glad, that the triangles are finished, but on the other hand they made fun in the end. But the warm-up took a little bit long.
