Liebe Inge,

This weekend the Nadelwelt in Karlsruhe will be open again. On Saturday, I will be there, too, and I know by Sigrid and Marianne , that they will be there on Saturday, too. We are planing to meet there. (Furthermore, Sigrid will give me my freshly won pillow. *happy^2*) Who will be there, too? If you will and if you like to meet, please leave me a massage. So, we can agree a meeting-point.
I think, most of you, who are living in the North of Germany, will join the meeting of the Patchwork Guild at Celle. If you do, be sure to visit the exhibition at the Bomann-Museum - really wonderful quilts!

Hochzeitsquilt VI
I owe you a picture of the status quo of the wedding quilt. Before we started into our vacation, there was the last meeting of the Modern Quilt Guild Stuttgart. Elaine took a picture of the top when I showed it to the other girls. There aren't many rows missing, but I didn't got to the sewing machine since we came back home. But I'm sure, I will finish the top next week.
The next time, I will show you either pictures of the exhibition by the Patchwork Gilde in Celle or what I made bobbin-lace. Both post need a little bit of time. Some of you already asked for the lace, I made - you will get some - promised.

Yesterday was the second day of show from the KreativKiste organized by Alexandra and Andrea. At our todo-list stood a non-slip sewing machine foot pad (whooosh! one of the rare words, wish are much longer in English than in German *gg*). I needed only two ours to sew two pads - one for my mom (at the right side) and one for me - ok, for our sewing machines. Gettig the non-slip mat was the hardest work - I had to go to four shops until I got what I wanted.
Next month, there will be some oven gloves by Pattydoo. I don't now someone using this kind of gloves, so I will pause one month. But in July, I will be there for sure. But maybe you will join our little group?

Yeah, sometimes life is different to want you have planed. ;) I just wanted to ask my best friend a little question and suddenly, it's two and a half later and *woooosh* it's 22h00. Ok, so I started sewing later than planned, but at least two hearts and at all 56 squares has been sewn together. 84 to go. Then the top will be finished and I will be really happy about it. But this will have to wait some days, because we will visit my parents tomorrow. There, I will "have an affair" and switch to making bobbin lace.
