Friday night I told you about my plans for the weekend. Except for sewing something more, I made everything of my list and now I'm a little bit tired. I really 'don't' know why... *gg* But it was worth.
Gestern war ich mit einer Freundin in Pfullingen bei Leder Reinhardt. Ein heißer Tipp aus 2012 von Griselda von Machewerk. Ohoh, gaaaanz schlecht für meinen Geldbeutel - aber man bekommt da wirklich fast alle Ledervarianten in fast allen Farben. Habt ihr schon mal gelbes Känguruleder gesehen? Ich gestern auf jeden Fall zum ersten Mal. Es gab vier große Restekisten - wobei Reste auch schon mal locker 2m² groß sein können. Abgerechnet wird in €/kg. Schaut mal, was ich alles gefunden habe. Ein ganz großes Stück geht an meine Mutter. Sie verwendet das als Unterlage beim Klöppeln und ist schon länger auf der Suche nach solchen Stücken.
Yesterday, my friend and I, we went to Leather Reinhardt in Pfullingen. A very hot hint by Griselda of machewerk in 2012. Ohoh, not good for my purse - but you can get nearly every type of leather in nearly every color. Have you ever seen a yellow leather made of kangaroos? Yestersday was my first time. There were four boxes with rest pieces - ok, some pieces were about 2m². Billed was in €/kg. Take a look, what I have found. The biggest piece will be for my mom. She uses it for making bobbin laces as a underlayer for the bobbins and searches for a long time for such pieces.

Und heute ging es dann mal wieder auf den Messeherbst in Stuttgart. Vergleichsmäßig relativ kurz, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Gefunden habe ich schöne Charms für Zipper an Reißverschlusstäschchen. Ich habe ja schon viele auf Euren Blogs gesehen und euch immer darum beneidet. Dann gab es noch ein wenig Zubehör um die Charms auch anbringen zu können. Dann drei schöne - und echt günstige - Steinketten. Und ein total leckeres Gewürz - Harissa. Eine Mischung aus Chilies, Koriander, Kreuzkümmel, Cayenne-Pfeffer, Steinsalz, Tomaten, Kümmel, Knoblauch und Minze. Jamjam!
And today me and two other friends, we went to the Messeherbst in Stuttgart. Comparably relativly short, but totally enough. I found some nice charmes for zipper-wallets. I had seen so many nice one at your blogs and envied you for them a little bit. There was some accesoires for the charms, too, to fit them to the zippers. Then three really beautiful - and really cheap - stone-chains. And a delicious spice - Harissa. A blend of chiles, coriander, cumin, cayenne pepper, rock salt, tomatoes, cumin, garlic and mint.
Und nun werde ich mal in die Küche gehen und für meinen GöGa anfangen zu kochen. Er war das Wochenende daheim im Norden. Das war schon irgendwie merkwürdig für mich. Normalerweise bin ich ja diejenige, die wegfährt und er bleibt zu Hause. Dieses Mal war es anders herum.
Ich wünsche Euch also einen schönen Sonntagabend und einen guten Start in die neue Woche. Bei mir beginnt dieser mit einer Stippvisite nach Berlin. Sorry, Marion, aber wir werden bis in den Abend hinein arbeiten müssen und fliegen Dienstag früh zurück. Vielleicht klappt es beim nächsten Mal wieder.
And now, I will go to the kitchen and start cooing for my lovely husband. He was at home in the north of Germany for this weekend. It was a little bit strange for me, because normally it is me, who travels around and left him at home. This time it was twisted.
