Christmas Tree QAL V - das Top ist fertig

Gestern Abend habe ich das Top für den Christmas Tree QAL fertig genäht. Es ging erstaunlich schnell! Zwischen den Blöcken habe ich ein Sashing mit 1/2" Breite eingefügt. Mein Mini Top misst jetzt 20" x 25" - also ca. 50cm x 75cm. Die Größe ist noch so, dass ich mir vorstellen kann, ihn an die Wohnungstür zu hängen. Und damit gehe ich jetzt mal zu Aylin und Sandra und verlinke mich für die große Verlosung. Schaut mal vorbei! Es gibt ganz viele total unterschiedliche Quilts & Tops nach ein und derselben Anleitung zu sehen.

Yesterday in the evening I finished my top for the Christmas Tree QAL. It was really fast - I wouldn't imagine it to be. Between the blocks, I added some 1/2" sashings. My mini top measures 20" x 25" - ca. 50cm x 75cm. The size is little enough to hang it at our entry. And by this, I will link up at Aylin and Sandra for the amazing giveaways. Have a look! Christmas Tree QAL IV - the last two one

Es ist vollbracht - die letzten beiden Sternchen sind genäht! Block #7 ist ein wenig krumm und schief geworden, aber wahrscheinlich bleibt er trotzdem so. Block #12 war dagegen recht einfach, auch wenn nicht perfekt in dieser Nahaufnahme.

It's finished - the last two one have been sewn! Block #7 got a little bit buckled and crooked, but I think, I won't make it a second time. Block #12 was really easy, although not really perfect at this close view.

13 Stück sind es geworden, im Top werde ich wahrscheinlich aber nur 11 verwenden.

Moin Moin to Hamburg!

Ich bin gerade geschäftlich aufm dem Weg nach Hamburg und heute Abend habe ich wahrscheinlich etwas Zeit in die Stadt zu gehen. Kann mir jemand von euch einen heißen Tipp für einen schönen Patchworkladen on Hamburg geben, den man gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen kann?

ich muss euch mal was zeigen

Schaut mal, was ich mir letztens bei "Alles-für-Selbermacher" gekauft habe! Ich bin schon seit Monaten immer wieder drumherum getigert und nun habe ich es getan! Ich habe mir einen professionel hergestellten Stempel mit meinem Logo bestellt - zusammen mit Band, Aufklebern, Kärtchen und Stempelkissen. Ist er nicht toll?

Look, what I ordered some days ago at "Alles-für-Selbermacher" I thought about it for the last months and now, I did it! I bought a professional made stamp with my own label - as a set with additional baker's twist, stickers, little cards and an ink pad. Isn't it great?

traurig ... und unendlich dankbar

Traurig, weil so etwas passieren konnte und wir Menschen anscheinend nicht friedlich und tolerant nebeneinander und miteinander leben können.

Undendlich dankbar, weil meine Schwester und mein Schwager sich am Freitag morgen spontan umentschieden haben und schon einen Tag früher aus Paris abgereist sind als ursprünglich geplant.

Sad, that such things could happen and that it seems, that people cannot live together in a peaceful and tolerant cooperation.

Endlessly thankful, because my sister and my brother-in-law decided spontaneously to leave Paris on Friday morning and so one day before they had planed it.
