Danke, danke, danke!!!

Ich laufe heute den ganzen Tag schon mit einem soooooo breiten Grinsen durch die Gegend gelaufen, ihr glaubt es gar nicht! Denn heute morgen schon musste ich bei Susanne linsen und habe schon gesehen, dass meine Stoffpaket wohl die meisten Stimmen bekommen habe. Und dann hat Susanne es auch noch ganz offiziell verkündet und da war es vorbei mit mir!

VIELEN, VIELEN, VIELEN LIEBEN DANK AN EUCH ALLE!!!

Vielen lieben Dank an alle, die mitgevotet haben! Ich freu mich immer noch wie Bolle und bin hin und weg. Jetzt warte ich ganz gespannt, wie die Stoffe dann "in real" aussehen. *hachz* Ick freu mir so und überlege schon, was ich daraus machen werde. *freu^2*

I running with such a biiiiiiiiiiiig smile through my day - you won't believe it! Because in the morning I had to have look at Susanne's blog and had seen, that my fabric bundle got most votes. And then Susanne anounced it officially. At this moment it was over!

Thank you so much for your voting! I'm so happy like a little child at Christmas and I'm bowled away. Now I'm waiting and totally curious about how the fabrics will look "in real". *big sigh* I'm so happy about it and think about, what I will do with them. *happy^2*

Mal wieder auf den letzten Drücker...

...komme ich mit einer kleinen Bitte auf Euch zu. Die Zeit rast aber auch dahin und der Tag ist auf einmal weg. Anfang letzte Woche habe ich Euch doch erzählt, dass man bei *** Susanne von Stoffbreite.de *** sich seine Lieblingsstoffe zusammenstellen kann und es u.a. einen Publikumsliebling als Gewinner gibt. Naja, und wie wird man Publikumsliebling? Natürlich durch eine Wahl! Die Wahlurnen sind noch bis morgen Abend 23h00 geöffnet (04.03.2015) und ihr seid herzlich eingeladen, daran teilzunehmen. Wie bei einer echten Wahl besteht natürlich keine Pflicht und wer sich nicht entscheiden kann zwischen den vielen tollen Mosaiken, kann z.B. gerne meine Wahl (#15) nehmen - aber Pflicht ist das natürlich auch nicht. ;o) Vielen Dank schon mal Euch allen - egal für wen ihr stimmt!

Ok, I'm a little bit late again with my little request. Time goes by so quickly and the day is nearly over. At the beginning of last week I told you about *** Susanne at Stoffbreite.de ***. At her blog you could elect your own favorite fabric mosaic and there will be a darling of the public, who will be one of two winners. Ok, and how will you get a darling of the public? Naturally by an election! The voitinig boxes will be open until tomorrow evening 23h00 (04.03.2015) and you are welcome to choose your own favorite mosaic. There will be no duty to elect for sure and who cannot decide for one of this great mosaics, can choose my own one (#15), if you like - but there is no duty for it. ;o) Thank you before - whoever you will choose!

Und zum Schluss zeige ich Euch, wie bei mir "Aufräumen" am Sonntag ausgesehen hat. Ich hatte mir die einzelnen Komponenten schon vor ein paar Wochen zurecht gelegt und bevor ich sie wieder einzeln wegräume, habe ich noch schnell diese Tasche von Noodlehead genäht. ;o)

And at the end I show you, what it meant to me "to tidy up" at Sunday. I disposed the components some weeks ago and before I put them away seperately, I'd sewn this pouch by Noodlehead. ;o)

Einkaufstasche / shopping-bag

Hej ho, ihr Lieben! / Hej  ho, my dear!

Heute morgen war es irgendwie nichts mitm Ausschlafen. Mein lieber GöGa ist erkältet und blöckt im Schlaf ganz gut vor sich hin. Also bin ich schon für meine Verhältnisse früh am Wochenende aufgestanden und habe ein wenig an unserer Steuererklärung gebastelt. Mein Gott, die erste zu zweit ist echt nicht einfach und man muss ganz schön viel beachten. In den letzten Jahren war ich immer in ca. drei Stunden fertig mit meiner, aber jetzt... Naja, aber laut unserem Programm wird es sich wenigstens lohnen. ;o) Irgendwann konnte ich dann auch endlich an die NäMa und da habe ich mir heute mal die Einkaufstasche von Stof vorgenommen, die ich in Uelzen gekauft und schon zweimal für meine Mutter und meinen Schwester genägt habe. Auf dem Panel sind alle Teile der Tasche ausgedruckt und man muss sie nur noch ausdrucken und nach der Anleitung auf dem Panel zusammennähen. Et voilà! Hier ist sie! Ich werde die Tasche nachher gleich mal beim Wochenendeinkauf die Tasche ausprobieren. Sie passt ja wunderbar in die Handtasche bzw. Rucksack.

Today in the morning, I couldn't sleep very long. My husband has a bad cold and bleated during sleeping. So, I stood up very early for my opinion at a weekend and worked a little bit at the annual tax declaration. OMG, the declaration for us two isn't as simple. The last years I needed only three hours for my single tax declaration, but now... Ok, but if the programm is right, it was worth the time. ;o) After a while I could start use my sewing machine and today I took my panell with the shopping bag by Stof, which I bought in Uelzen and have sewn twice for my Mom and my sister. All pieces of the bag are printed at the panell and have to been cut and sewn together by the printed tutorial. Et voilà! Here it is! I think, I will give the shopping bag a first try for my weekend shopping. It fits perfectly into the purse or the backpack.

Vielen Dank auch schon einmal für eure vielen Kommentare zu meinem letzten Post und auch die Angebote für "Ersatzstoffe"! Ich hoffe, Sandra und Eva sind nicht sauer, dass ich schon all meine Blöcke gezeigt habe. Als die beiden damals zum QAL aufgerufen haben, habe ich mich angemeldet und dann nach einigen Tagen bei Sandra gemeldet und mich wieder "abgemeldet" und gesagt, dass ich in Etappen immer wieder zum QAL stoßen werde. Ich habe damals schon gemerkt, dass ich durch meinen Beruf es einfach nicht schaffen würde, regelmäßig und jede Woche zwei Blöcke zu nähen. Ich weiß, manche werden jetzt sagen, dass kann doch nicht sein, aber ihr habt ja in den letzten Monaten gemerkt, dass ich die Blöcke doch meist sehr schubweise genäht habe und es immer wieder Nähpausen gab. Jetzt am Schluss war es so, dass ich ja diese Woche drei Tage unfreiwillig zu Hause war und die habe ich einfach ausgenutzt. Aber ich verspreche, dass ich das fertige Top erst wieder zeigen werde, wenn auch alle anderen ihre Tops zeigen. Ich hoffe, Sandra und Eva, ihr nehmt mir den vorgezogenen Endspurt nicht übel. :)

Thank you so much for your many comments to my last post and your offers for "alternative fabrics"! I hope, Sandra and Eva aren't angry with me, that I have already shown all 100 blocks. When both invoiced the QAL, I first registered myself, but after some days I got in touch with Sandra and "signed off" and told her, that I will join the QAL once in a while. I recognized at that time, that it wouldn't be possible for me to sew two blocks every week. I know, there will be some people, who will say, that it cannot be a problem to sew two blocks a week, but I think, you have seen during the last months, that I had sewn the blocks in batch and there had been many sewing-pauses. And now, in the end, there had been three involuntary free days and I took the chance. But I promise, I will show the finished top not until when everyone shows her finished top. I hope, Sandra and Eva, you don't take my advanced finish amiss. :)

So, die 100 sind voll!!! Alle 100 Blöcke aus Tula Pink's City Sampler Buch sind fertig. Der Stapel aller Blöcke ist echt riesig! Schaut mal:
Ok, I got the 100!!! All 100 blocks by Tula Pink's City Sampler book are finished. Look at this huge stack:

 

Uff! Das letzte Kapitel war gar nicht sooo einfach - man braucht so viele Motivstoffe und ich habe so wenige davon. Am Mittwoch habe ich dann noch eine kleine Shopping-Tour zum Stoffladen meines Vertrauens gemacht und da sind auch viele tolle Stoffe dazugekommen. Und ich habe auch viele von Martinas Stoffen schon vernäht. Aber einige Blöcke gefallen mir ehrlich gesagt nach dem Zusammennähen gar nicht und ich möchte sie unbedingt noch mal ändern bzw. neu nähen. Manche werde ich durchs Quilten pimpen können. Aber könnt ihr mir viellicht bei dem Stoffproblem helfen? Ich würde mich riesig freuen und mich natürlich auch erkenntlich zeigen.
Aber zunächst einmal die Kapitelübersicht und wie meine Gesamtübersicht ohne, dass ich die Blöcke sortiert habe, aussieht. Eigentlich echt nicht schlecht, aber so mancher Block passt einfach nicht stimmig rein bzw. fällt mir zu sehr auf.

Uff! The last chapter wasn't as easy - you need many fabrics with motives and I don't have many of such fabrics. So I made a shopping-tour to my davorite fabric shop and there had been many nice new fabrics coming into my stash. And I could use some of Martina's fabrics. But some of the blocks I really don't like them at all after sewing them together and I want to change them or sew them new. Other will be pimped by quilting I know. But can some of you help me with the missing fabrics? I would be so glad and sure I will give you something back.
But first I will show you the overview of the chapter and all blocks unsorted together. Ok, this is really not bad, but some blocks stand our of the rest or aren't harmonious.

Ich kann euch ja mal zeigen, welche Blöcke mir noch nicht so ganz gefallen bzw. bei denen man m.E. etwas verbessern könnte. (Ihr werdet mich bestimmt für verrückt erklären, aber ich verspreche dass die Blöcke anderweitig zum Einsatz kommen.) Leider gibt es viele Originalstoffe von Tula Pink nicht mehr und ich denke gerade Block 100 würde mit dem Eichhörnchen soooo schön und passend aussehen. Wenn jemand von euch Lust und Spaß hat ein wenig mit mir zu tauschen oder ein Stück Stoff auch zu verkaufen, schreibt mir doch bitte eine Mail oder einen Kommentar. Ich würde mich echt riesig freuen!

I'll show you now, which blocks I don't like at all or which I think, they could be pimped up. (I think, you will call me crazy, but I promise, that I will every block in another project.) Unfortunatelly many of the original Tula Pink fabrics couldn't be bought anymore in shops and I think for example that block #100 would be sooooo cute with the original squirrels. If anyone of you is interested to swap some fabrics or to sell some pieces, please mail me or write a comment. I would be so happy about it!

Tula Pink City Sampler - Kapitel V

Ich habe diese Woche drei Tage zwangsfrei bekommen - geschwollener Lymphknoten und erhöhte Temperatur. *nerv* Und im Endeffekt kann man nur abwarten, bis die Schwellung wieder weg geht. Naja, da habe ich mal die drei Tage genutzt und mich erholt und gestern mal wieder meinen Tula Pink City Sampler in Angriff genommen. Das nächste Kapitel ist fertig geworden. 15 Blöcke mit Quadraten und schon einigen Stoffen aus Martinas Post. Vielen Dank Dir noch einmal! 85 done, 15 to go! Heute bin ich noch einmal zu Hause. Wahrscheinlich werde ich heute noch die letzten 15 Stück nähen. Dann hätte ich schon alle Blöcke fertig und muss sie "nur" noch zusammen nähen.

I have got three days off this week - involuntary - swollen lymph node and increased temperature. And in the end I can only wait until the swelling goes away by itself. So, I used the three days to relax and tackle my Tula Pink City Sampler. The next chapter is finished. 15 blocks with squares and with some fabrics of Martina's mail. Thank you so much again! 85 done, 15 to go! Today, I'm still at home. Maybe I will sew the last 15 blocks today. So I would have finished all blocks and will "only" have to sew them together.
