At the weekend, there was finally the Nadelwelt at Karlsruhe and today I like to show you the pictures of our - the Modern Quilt Guild Stuttgart and the Modern Quilt Group Heilbronn - exhibition without many words. We got a really great area in the middle of the exhibition area, at which the sunlight felt nicely in.. But this made it a little bit difficulty to make the pictures. The absolutly crowd magnet was the "bucket of paints" made by Uschi, but all others were admired, too. There we always try to handle one theme at each meeting (hexagons, circles, cityscapes, Bauhaus etc.), we tried to hang up the quilts by themes. One quilt you will surely attract attention to, because it won't fit the "criterias" of a modern quilt. I have to tell you, that the quilt was sent to us from the USA. Abby lived in Germany since two years ago and was a part of our group. She sent us her "Gipsy Wife" especially for our exhibition.
Ach so, dass jetzt mal wieder eine Bilderflut kommt, brauche ich euch wohl nicht noch zu sagen, oder? ;) Viel Spaß beim Anschauen!
By the way, I don't have to tell you that now, there will come a flush of pictures again, do I? ;) Have fun, watching them!
